129. यूरोप के लोग जब जंगली अवस्था में रहते थे उस प्राचीन अतीत में भारत के लोगों को रोग प्रतिरोधक और रोग निवारक चिकित्सा भलीभांति ज्ञात था. विश्व के लोग जानते न हों पर आयुर्वेद शास्त्र का जन्म भारत में ही हुआ. भारत से अरबों ने सिखा और अरबों से यह विद्या यूरोप गयी. अब हमें पता लग रहा है कि हिन्दू शास्त्रों में स्वच्छता के सही नियम भी अंतर्भूत हैं. स्मृतिकार मनु मानवजाति के अतिश्रेष्ठ पथ-प्रदर्शकों में से एक हैं जिन्होंने स्वच्छ सामाजिक जीवन के आदर्श नियम बनाये हैं. १३०. शल्य चिकित्सा में हिन्दू लोग बहुत अग्रसर थे. यूरोप के चिकित्सकों के हजारों वर्ष पूर्व सुश्रुत संहिता में मुत्रपिंड में चुभने वाली पथरी की शल्य-क्रिया बड़ी सूक्ष्मता से वर्णित है. आधुनिक शल्य-चिकित्सा के औजार प्राचीन नमूनों पर ही बनाये जाते हैं. दुर्घटनाओं या हमलों के कारन शरीर के अंगों में टूट-फुट हिन्दू शल्य-चिकित्सक बड़ी अच्छी तरह से दुरुस्त किया करते थे. बेबीलोन, असीरिया, ईजिप्त, ग्रीस आदि देशों में जो दवाइयाँ प्रयोग होती थी, वे सारी की सारी भारत में ही बनाई जाति थी. 131. प्राचीन हिन्दुओं की शल्य-चिकित्सा बड़ी साहसी और कुशल होती थी. शरीर के खराब अवयव को काटकर अलग करना, खौलते तेल के प्रयोग से दबाब द्वारा रुधिरस्राव को रोकना, पथरी निकालना, उदर या योनिस्थान में शल्य क्रिया करना, हर्निया, फिच्युला, खिसकी हुई हड्डी सही करना, टूटी हड्डी जोड़ना,शरीर से हानिकारक पदार्थ निकालना आदि जानते थे. विकृत कान, नाक आदि अवयव दुरुस्त करने की कला यूरोपियन शल्य चिकित्सकों ने हिन्दुओं से सीखी है. कठिन से कठिन प्रसूति को वे भली प्रकार निभा लेते, इतना उनका दाई-कर्म कुशल होता था-Sir William Hunter

Fertility and Sterility नाम का एक अमेरिकन वैद्यकीय मासिक है. उसके नवम्बर-दिसम्बर १९८० के अंक में Frank M Gautmann और Herta A Guttmann द्वारा लिखे लेख में एक स्त्री का गर्भ दूसरी स्त्री में रोपने की प्रक्रिया प्राचीन आयुर्वेद शास्त्र द्वारा कितनी कुशलता से की जाती थी, उसका वर्णन है. (जैसे, देवकी के सातवें गर्भ का रोहिणी के गर्भ में स्थानान्तरण याद करें)
133. गांधारी के १०० पुत्र सेरोगेसी (बिज रोपण प्रक्रिया) द्वारा हुए थे. उस प्रक्रिया का पूरा वर्णन बड़ी बारीकी से महाभारत में अंकित है. महाभारत का युद्ध संभवतः ईसा पूर्व सन ३१३८ में हुआ था-पी एन ओक
१३४. सुश्रुत के ग्रन्थ में शल्यक्रिया के १२१ औजारों का वर्णन है. सुश्रुत ने ११२० रोगों के नाम दिए हैं जिनकी पहचान नाड़ी परीक्षा, हृदय की धक धक और अन्य लक्षणों से करने का मार्ग बतलाया है. सन १३०० के एक ग्रन्थ में नाड़ी परीक्षा का वर्णन दिया है. मूत्र परिक्षण विश्लेषण आदि से रोग का पता लगाने की विधि बतलाई गयी है-पी एन ओक
135. रूस के साइबेरिया में वैदिक संस्कृति के अवशेष अब भी दिखाई देते हैं. भारत से डॉ लोकेश्चन्द्र कुछ साथियों को लेकर वहां दो-तिन बार गये. उन्होंने वहां देखा की वहां के लोग अभी भी गंगा जल की पवित्रता को मानते हैं. हिंगाषटक, त्रिफला आदि आयुर्वेदिक औषधि बनाते हैं. रोग से मुक्ति केलिए आयुदेवता की पूजा करते हैं. ऐसे ही एक आयुदेवता की मूर्ति हौज खास, नई दिल्ली में प्रदर्शित है-पी एन ओक
136. वैदिक स्थापत्य यानि वास्तुकला और नगर-रचना की पूरी विधि मूल तत्व आदि विवरण जिन संस्कृत ग्रंथों में मिलता है उन्हें अगम साहित्य कहा जाता है.ये ग्रन्थ बहुत प्राचीन हैं. मानसार शिल्पशास्त्र के रचयिता महर्षि मानसार के अनुसार ब्रह्मा जी ने नगर-निर्माण और भवन-रचना विद्याओं में चार विद्वानों को प्रशिक्षण दिया. उनके नाम हैं-विश्वकर्मा, मय, तवस्तर और मनु.
137. शिल्पज्ञान (Engineering) की सबसे प्राचीन संस्कृत ग्रन्थ है भृगु शिल्पसन्हिता. किले, महल, स्तम्भ, भवन, प्रासाद, पुल, मन्दिर, गुरुकुल, मठ आदि बनाने की विधि बताने वाली अन्य संस्कृत ग्रन्थ हैं-मयमत, काश्यप, सारस्वत्यम, युक्ति कल्पतरु, समरांगन, सूत्रधार, आकाश भैरवकल्प, नारद शिल्पसन्हिता, विश्वकर्मा विद्याप्रकाश, बृहतसंहिता, शिल्पशास्त्र आदि.
138. कुतुबुद्दीन ने कुतुबमीनार बनबाई या शाहजहाँ ने ताजमहल बनबाया एसा उल्लेख कुतुबुद्दीन या शाहजहाँ के दरबारी द्स्ताबेजों में या तत्कालीन तवारीखों (इतिहास की किताबों) में भी नहीं है. मुसलमानों द्वारा किसी इमारत को कब्जा किये हुए जब वर्षों बीत जाते थे तो चाटुकार दरबारी जो जिस हिन्दू ईमारत को हड़पता था उसे ही उसका निर्माता घोषित कर देते थे. सिर्फ भारत ही नहीं पुरे विश्व में मुसलमानों ने इसी फर्जीवाडा से लूट की इमारतें अपने नाम घोषित की है. वामपंथी इतिहासकार भी वही करते आ रहे हैं-पी एन ओक
139. “विधवा का मुंह तक नहीं देखना चाहिए” इस उद्गार का वास्तविक अर्थ है उनका जल्द से जल्द पुनर्विवाह कर देना चाहिए ताकि उसका भी कल्याण हो और सामाजिक मर्यादा भी भंग होने न पाए. पहले तो युद्ध में एक साथ हजारों लाखों स्त्रियाँ विधवा हो जाती थी, महाभारत युद्ध में तो करोड़ों विधवाएं हुई. अभिमन्यु की विधवा क्या तिरस्कार के योग्य थी? यह उद्गार वैसा ही है जैसे गांवों में कहावत है “मर्द को खाते और स्त्री को नहाते कोई न देख पाए” अर्थात मर्द जल्दी खाकर काम पर जाए और स्त्री जल्दी से नहा ले क्योंकि पहले आज की तरह सुविधा नहीं होती थी.
140. गुम्बद (dome) का संस्कृत शब्द आमलक और कुम्भज है. कुम्भज मतलब कुम्भ (घड़ा) जैसा. गुम्बद कुम्भज का ही अपभ्रंश हैं. इसलिए यह कहना की गुम्बद इस्लामिक स्थापत्य कला है बिलकुल झूठ है. गुम्बद क्या इस्लामिक स्थापत्य कला जैसा कोई कला है ही नहीं. कुम्भ को अंग्रेजी में Comb कहते हैं इसी का अपभ्रंश अंग्रेजी में कुम्भज केलिए Dome हुआ-पी एन ओक
141. स्तम्भ में अंदर से जीना, हर मंजिल पर छज्जे, स्तम्भ के शीर्ष पर छत्र यानि गुम्बद होना यह सारे हिन्दू दीपस्तम्भ के लक्षण है. वैदिक स्थापत्य में इसे एक स्तम्भ कहते हैं. इटली में पीसा की झुकी मीनार, अफगानिस्तान के गजनी में स्थित मीनार, दिल्ली का तथाकथित कुतुबमीनार, ताजमहल के चरों कोनो पर स्थित मीनार, अहमदाबाद का हिलता मीनार आदि सारे वैदिक स्थापत्य के उदाहरन है-पी एन ओक
142. रोमन लोग विश्व के श्रेष्ठतम भवन निर्माता रहे हैं, तथापि सुशोभित या सजी-धजी इमारतें वे बना नहीं पाए.वे कमानें तो बनाते थे तथापि स्थापत्य की उनकी कोई विशेषता नहीं है.भवनों की विशालता और ग्रीक शैली का विचित्र अनुकरण, यहीं तक उनका स्थापत्य सिमित था. भारत में सुशोभित या सजी-धजी इमारतें बृहद पैमाने पर दिखाई देती है. 143. ग्रीक भूगोलवेत्ता स्ट्रैबो ने लिखा है कि, “ग्रीस के लोगों की गान पद्धति, उनकी लय, तन, गाने आदि सारे पूर्ववर्ती प्रदेशों (भारत) से लिए हुए दिखाई देते हैं. भारत सहित पूरा एशिया खंड का प्रदेश Bacchus (यानि त्रयम्बकेश या शिवपूजक) था और पाश्चात्य संगीत का अधिकार स्रोत वही है. एक अन्य लेखक पौर्वात्य के सितार बड़े ठाठ से बजाए जाने का उल्लेख करता है.
144. देववाणी संस्कृत के शब्द भी वैज्ञानिक विश्लेषणों पर आधारित होते है. जैसे, जगत-ज गत का अर्थ है वह जो गतिमान है यानि जो प्रतिक्षण परिस्थिति बदलती रहती है. संसार का सभी दृश्य और अदृश्य पदार्थ गतिमान है यहाँ तक स्वयं पृथ्वी और सौर मंडल भी. उसी तरह संसार का मतलब होता है संसरति-इति यानि जो प्रवाह के सामान गतिमान होता है-पी एन ओक
१४५. रूस के काल्मिक प्रदेश की राजधानी एलिस्ता में काल्मिक भाषा में रामायण छपी है. काल्मिक दंतकथाओं में रामायण के कई प्रसंग प्रस्तुत किए जाते हैं. उस प्रान्त के ग्रंथालयों में प्राचीन काल्मिक लिपि में लिखे रामायण के सात संस्करण सुरक्षित हैं. (डेक्कन हेराल्ड, दिसम्बर १५, १९७२, बेंगलोर)

146. रशिया ऋषिय (प्रदेश) का अपभ्रंश है. प्राचीन काल में यह ऋषि मुनियों का प्रमुख तपश्चर्या स्थल था. रूस का काल्मिक प्रदेश में काल्मिक बाल्मिक शब्द है-पी एन ओक
वैदिक काल में १२ देवासुर संग्राम इलावर्त (सोवियत रूस) में हुआ था-MKV
147. स्ट्रैबो के अनुसार भारत तक का एशिया खंड Bachhus (त्रयम्बकेश उर्फ़ शिव) को समर्पित था. उसी प्रदेश में Hercules (हरक्युलिस अर्थात हरि कुल ईश या कृष्ण) और Bachhus को पूर्ववर्ती प्रदेशों का स्वामी कहा जाता था. बेबीलोन और मिस्त्र की संस्कृति के वही उद्गमस्थल थे. ग्रीक और रोमन जनता के Buchhus और मित्रस (सूर्य) देवता उसी प्रदेश के थे. (पृष्ठ ४४, Buddhisht and Christian Gospels, The Yukwan Publishing house, Tokyo, 1905)
148. दुनियाभर में शिव की पूजा का प्रचलन था, इस बात के हजारों सबूत बिखरे पड़े हैं. पुरातात्विक निष्कर्षों के अनुसार प्राचीन शहर मेसोपोटेमिया और बेबीलोन में भी शिवलिंग की पूजा किए जाने के सबूत मिले हैं. इसके अलावा मोहन-जोदड़ो और हड़प्पा की विकसित संस्कृति में भी शिवलिंग की पूजा किए जाने के पुरातात्विक अवशेष मिले हैं. हाल ही में इस्लामिक स्टेट द्वारा नष्ट कर दिए गए प्राचीन शहर पलमायरा, नीमरूद आदि नगरों में भी शिव की पूजा के प्रचलन के अवशेष मिलते हैं. इसके अतिरिक्त इन जगहों में भी शिवलिंग हैं:

– ग्लासगो, स्काटलैंड में सोने के शिवलिंग है.
– तुर्किस्तान के शहर में बारह सौ फुट ऊंचा शिवलिंग है.
– हेड्रोपोलिस शहर में तीन सौ फुट ऊंचा शिवलिंग है.
– दक्षिण अमेरिका के ब्राजील देश में अनेक शिवलिंग हैं.
– कारिथ,यूरोप में पार्वती का मंदिर है.
– मेक्सिको में अनेक शिवलिंग हैं.
– कम्बोडिया में प्राचीन शिवलिंग है.
– जावा और सुमात्रा प्रदेशों में भी अनेकों शिवलिंग हैं.
– इंडोनेशिया में अनेक भव्य देवालय एवं प्राचीन शिलालेख हैं. इन शिलालेखों में शिव-विषयक लेख ही अधिक हैं. जिनके आरम्भ में लिखा रहता है- ॐ नम: शिवाय.
– इजिप्ट का सुप्रसिद्ध स्थल और आयरलैंड का धर्मस्थल शंकर का स्मारक लिंग ही है.
– नेपाल, पाकिस्तान और भूटान आदि कई देशों में ईश्वर शिवलिंग के प्रमाण मिलते हैं.
– चीन में नील सरस्वती का मंदिर है.
– इजिप्ट का सुप्रसिद्ध स्थल और आयरलैंड का धर्मस्थल शंकर का स्मारक लिंग ही है.

150. प्राचीन समय के आर्य, ईशानी-यानि शिव पंथी, समरीटन यानि मनुस्मृति आदि स्मृति ग्रंथों के अनुसार आचरण करनेवाले, स्टोह्क्स यानि स्तविक जो स्तवन करा करते थे, इजिप्तिशियंस यानि अजपति राम के देश के लोग, असीरियनस यानि असुर, सिरियन्स यानि सुर, रोमन यानि रामपंथी, ज्यू यानि यदु लोग, कननाईट यानि कन्हैयापंथी, कुशाईट यानि कुश के प्रजाजन, एट्रूस्कन यानि ऋषि अत्रि के अनुयायी, यवन यानि ग्रीक, म्लेच्छ यानि मलेशियन आदि स्थानीय विविधताओं के साथ सभी वैदिक संस्कृति के अनुयायी ही थे-पी एन ओक
